LORIS worked with the Town of Basalt to construct 1,360 linear ft. of trail to serve as a regional connector. The critical piece of this trail is a two-span, 335-ft.-long truss structure over the Roaring Fork River that was created by using four segments of Aspen’s former Maroon Creek Pedestrian Bridge. The project was federally funded and required approval of CDOT Region 3.
